With a trusted background as a residential real estate broker and a licensed Architect, Brandon J. Kelly offers his clients a unique perspective with the true ability to educate on every aspect of a home. A person’s residence is often the most expensive purchase or sale in their lifetime, and it is a responsibility Brandon does not take lightly. He takes great pride in looking out for his clients’ best interest, alleviating nerves, and giving 110% to a full disclosure approach so there are never any surprises. Brandon also makes himself readily available long after the transaction is complete and is always happy to pick up the phone and provide advisement or a connection to a credible vendor. Because of his diverse business strategy, Brandon not only partners with buyers and sellers to achieve their real estate goals, he also sustains a development business designing and building high-end custom homes through his firm, COUPE architecture. A continued passion of art, drawing and building led him to earn Bachelor of Science and Master of Architecture degrees from the top-rated University of Cincinnati’s School of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning. Today, he serves clients through his ownership of COUPE architecture, is certified with the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) and is a LEED Accredited Professional (practicing sustainable strategies). Whether in his architectural capacity or representing a real estate client, Brandon caters to all project types and sizes with an emphasis on Seattle, Mercer Island, Bellevue and the greater Eastside. When not in the office, Brandon may be found spending time with his wife Jodi, their son Quinn, and their black lab Shadow. ×You will not be disappointed! We used Brandon as our realtor four years ago to purchase our home in West Seattle. I have recommended him multiple times to other friends because we had such a great experience buying our house. I have to say the biggest value add with Brandon is that he has an immense amount of knowledge being an architect and contractor. We walked through every inch of the house and talked about the potential of the house we were to buy. We bought during a time when bidding wars were pricing all of our friends out of the market, but Brandon advised us into a perfect situation where we got to control our bid, but we also had time to get an inspection, and got closing costs! Our house has jumped in value since our purchase and Brandon continues to be a close contact. We would surely hire him again, and highly recommend him to others.
×Brandon was recommended to us by my son when we decided to relocate to Seattle from Spokane. The last time we bought a house was more than 20 years ago, having Brandon help us understand and navigate a new geographical market while in the transition of moving was fantastic.
What we enjoyed most about working with Brandon was experiencing his trifecta background. He has been designing, building and renovating homes for over a decade, so with his trained eye he could point out the fact that the electrical panel was too small for the current load of the home or suggest design options on a fixer-upper that would change the home's potential. With him we didn't have to incur additional costs for consultations - it's all part of the package!
He is honest and patient. We worked with Brandon for six months in search of a home we could afford and love. There was never any pressure to put in an offer, in fact, he repeated this many times when he sensed our hesitation: "If it doesn't feel right, then it's not right."
The Seattle market was very aggressive when we were purchasing our home. Brandon was able to successfully guide us through this new real estate era we had never experienced before, making the notion of pre-inspections and escalation clauses easy to understand.
We enjoyed working with Brandon and would highly recommend him!
×Brandon is the perfect real estate agent for anyone looking to buy, due to him also being an architect and contractor. While looking at houses, he can see the potential of a house, as well as tell you the length of time and costs of performing potential upgrades. He looks at the bones of the house with his architect eye, while you look at the "pretty" parts of the house. His input is invaluable during this process! Brandon is very knowledgeable on current market trends, is great at negotiating, and works well with other agents during the closing process. He will always be honest with you along the way. So you can trust in his recommendations, but also know that he will tell you when its in your best interest to walk away. I highly recommend Brandon to ANYONE looking for a real estate agent!

×There isn't a harder working person, whether it is for his real estate clients or his architecture clients. His architectural and zoning/building code knowledge is a huge asset for his real estate business. He's able to see things BEFORE making an offer that would otherwise be found by an inspector. He knows what to look for in a house besides the obvious. Listing photos can be devious with beautiful pictures, and he can often see things that you might not notice without being present, and at a showing, he'll see everything that's wrong with it, and he know what it'll take to fix things, so that he can advise his clients what these costs may be in the future and what a client's overall budget should be. You can't go wrong with Brandon as your agent.
×Brandon was great, knowledgeable, friendly and a true guide through the process. He listened to our needs and made sure we were focused in our search.
×This was the second house Brandon sold for us. In both cases he met with us in advance to explain in great detail the entire process. We discussed and set the price we wanted to ask after reviewing the list of comps he provided. He toured the home and gave suggestions for how the home should look, both inside and outside, to attract buyers. He made notes on the details of the house with us so he'd be ready to answer prospective buyers. He recommended a photographer that did a great job for us. Brandon then put the listing together. He arranged for the sign, installed the keybox and personally handled the open houses.
When the offers came in he met with us to discuss the pros and cons of each offer. After a buyer was selected, he did a great job negotiating to get us the best deal. He monitored the rest of the process, keeping us updated on the outcome of each step. He even made sure that we had our move all set up. He supported us all the way through the process and there is no doubt that we will use him again and highly recommend him to others in need of a realtor.
