Over the past two decades, Bror Elmquist has cemented a trusted reputation in residential and commercial real estate sales, leasing and property management. Working closely with the largest real estate holding and landowners on Bainbridge Island, he is well-versed in commercial and residential projects, retail, office and industrial, expertly representing clients with a tenacious approach and creative responses to changing economic conditions. Bror’s clients benefit from his established relationships with the major players in the development scene, tenacious negotiation tactics, unparalleled service and breadth of experience, which command results.

Bror approaches every client—regardless of the size or type of the deal—with professionalism, expertise, honesty and integrity. He serves as a partner to his clients, providing financial analysis to determine investment quality and reach favorable terms on both sides of the transaction. His strong portfolio includes the development of The Winslow, a 35,000 square foot mixed-use complex with 18 condominiums; First Hill Plaza, a 33-story high-rise in Seattle with 133 residential units; and The Madrone, a mixed-use project on Bainbridge Island with 18 condominiums.

Prior to establishing his own construction management business, Bror served as Project Manager for Baugh Construction, one of the top 3 commercial builders in the Pacific Northwest, working on the First Hill Plaza project. He then assumed the role of Chief Estimator and Director of Preconstruction Services for one of the largest commercial builders in southern California, specializing in large office buildings, hotels, hospitals and parking garages.

After eighteen successful years, Bror branched into his own construction management business, which he evolved and grew over time to meet the needs of his clients. He added development services, property management, leasing and real estate financial management, and finally, the representation of the sale of projects to allow clients to realize the final economic benefit of their investments. Bror’s clients appreciate his exceptional knowledge regarding the cost of development, construction on the front end, and value for leasing and sales investment. Bror holds a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction & Management from Clemson University.

In the simplest of terms, Bror aligned with Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty for the people. His familiarity with the brand began in 2016, when he worked with Dean Jones, Owner & CEO of RSIR, in establishing the firm’s new branch office at the old hardware store in downtown Winslow. Together with Joseph Lacko, the building owner, Bror played an integral role in negotiating the building purchase and anchor tenant leases. Since then, he has come to know the firm’s brokers, award-winning marketing and collaborative approach, and knew it was the place to grow his business even further.

Bror has been a resident of Bainbridge Island for over twenty years. When not in the office, he enjoys biking, traveling and kayaking. Passionate about the local community, he is a member of Bainbridge Island Rotary and Grace church, and formerly served on the board of HYLA Middle School. Bror owns a second home in Antigua, Guatemala and volunteers his time and resources with NGO AmedicaUSA to help the rural community with school supplies, clothing, and medical equipment.
