Art & Design
6.1 – 6.9 | Atlanta Design Festival Atlanta, United States
Design is Human Atlanta has been re-named the Atlanta Design Festival but that’s the only change attendees can expect. As always, the event will feature MA! Architecture Tours, showroom presentations, talks and installations that span the city of Atlanta.
6.1 – 6.30 | London Festival of Architecture London, United Kingdom
London will open its doors for iconic tours, architectural installations, expert panels, exhibitions and art commissions, and more. In total, there will be over 400 exceptional architecture events in the city throughout the month of June, with hubs at London Bridge, Royal Docks, City of London and Heart of London.
6.6 – 6.8 | Birmingham Design Festival Birmingham, United Kingdom
Back for its second year, the Birmingham Design Festival celebrates local, national and international design over three days. It will feature talks, workshops, screenings and exhibitions, with an opportunity for the local community to immerse themselves in all things design.
6.6 – 6.8 | AIA Conference Las Vegas, United States
This year’s architecture conference will focus on a “blueprint for a better future,” with experts to discuss the challenges facing cities around the world today. Activities include an expo, panel discussions, networking opportunities, classes and more.
6.10 – 6.12 | NeoCon Chicago, Unites States
Now in its fifty-first year, NeoCon is a leading commercial design industry event. It serves as a launchpad for designers, where they can collaborate and discuss solutions and ideas to shape environmental design, and will bring together 500 leading companies and 50,000 design professionals.
6.11 – 6.16 | Design Miami/ Basel, Switzerland
Design Miami/ is a global forum for design, which brings together curators, critics, designers, gallerists and more, all to celebrate design culture and commerce. Held in Basel, Switzerland each June, Design Miami/ is a premier forum for collecting and exhibiting state-of-the-art design.
6.12 – 6.19 | Barcelona Design Week Barcelona, Spain
Since its inaugural event in 2006, Barcelona Design Week has emerged as a “can’t-miss” event for those with a passion for design, creativity and innovation. This year’s theme is transitions and will aim to bring people together in an extensive, week-long program.
6.26 – 6.29 | New Designers Part 1 London, United Kingdom
The New Designers Part 1 series will showcase the work of 3,000 hand-selected graduate designers from around the United Kingdom, to explore every discipline of modern making. To learn more about this event, take a look at last year’s festivities:
