Event Draws Dozens of Invited Guests to RSIR’s Kirkland Branch Office for Book Signing and Lake Washington Boat Tour
On Wednesday, July 26th author Ben Briggs of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty and resident of China, visited the offices of Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty on the Kirkland waterfront for an impromptu book signing of his book Chinese Institutions Definitive Guide to USA Commercial Real Estate. The book, written in Chinese, is currently offered for sale on Amazon.com and includes chapters written by twelve other co-authors including RSIR’s Dean Jones, representing the Seattle / Bellevue metro area.
Briggs (above left) was glad to visit the Connoisseurs of Life Showroom in Kirkland to sign copies of his book.
“Seattle and Bellevue are on top of Hurun’s list for good reason,” said Briggs. “Flanked on the West Coat by Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Vancouver, Seattle has a booming economy, offers an amazing eco-adventure luxury lifestyle, and yet prices are much lower. Hence, Amazon, Alibaba, Microsoft and Boeing (among others) all choose this city, recently ranked the Top State for Business by CNBC.”

Among the other reasons cited was a lack of state income tax and propensity for capital appreciation as the Puget Sound area follows a similar trajectory set by peer markets on the West Coast.

A few dozen guests attended the signing event and enjoyed a conversation about the trends for capital investment in the region. Also present was John Spear, Publisher of Tiger Oak Media’s Seattle Luxury Living Magazine, another all-Chinese publication catered to Chinese consumers in the Pacific Northwest as well as those seeking real estate and lifestyle opportunities throughout the Seattle metro area.

The book signing concluded with a waterfront tour, as several prominent investors and developers from China were treated to a showcase of premier properties and real estate opportunities.

The Pacific Northwest was just the latest in a series of book signings across the US since it first debuted on April 19th in New York City. The collaboration amongst leading affiliates in the global real estate network is a continuation of efforts by Briggs, Jones and others to build a referral network for Asian emigrants and investors.
“RSIR’s Asia Services Group is the strongest team in the US that is ready and willing to provide Sotheby’s International Realty’s signature white-glove service to our distinguished Asian clientele,” adds Briggs.
