Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty’s Hopper Group members Brian and Nicole Hopper recently returned from beautiful Lake Tahoe and were in attendance at a Sotheby’s International Realty network event hosted by Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty. The event was held at the Hyatt on the shores of Lake Tahoe and was attended by over 200 associates from 12 different firms from across the country.

“It is a defining time in our market place. I found in invaluable to hear from other agents in markets from across the country about what is happening in their respective markets,” reflected Hopper.

Hopper was asked by Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty to participate in an agent panel, sharing lessons from the field, alongside Thomas Henthrone of Golden Gate Sotheby’s International Realty (Bay Area), Eric Iantorno of Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty (San Diego), Stephanie Lamarre of Golden Gate Sotheby’s International Realty (Bay Area) and Thomas Wright of Summit Sotheby’s International Realty (Utah).

The event was kicked off with a presentation by former Sotheby’s International Realty Chief Marketing Officer Wendy Purvey, who discussed her new position with InvitedHome, who the company is and their business model. The service InvitedHome provides is essential for the resort rental market of luxury homes prevalent in the Tahoe area and in some parts of Seattle as well. InvitedHome’s business is all about providing expert asset management to high-end second home owners while promising unique, boutique hotel-worthy vacation experiences to travelers. InvitedHome is the only vacation home management company purpose built to maximize the joy of owning a luxury vacation home.

The day began with a fantastic tour of Lake Tahoe on an oversized boat hosted by Breck Overall and Jeff Hamilton. (From Left): The Gilson Team of Today Sotheby’s International Realty pictured with Brian and Nicole Hopper!

The day was filled with exciting content, some of which speaks to the size and reach that Sotheby’s International Realty has, including the latest brand stats:

  • 960 offices in 72 countries
  • Over 100,000 subscribers on the Sotheby’s International Realty YouTube Channel
  • 22,000 sales associates
  • 41 of the top 250 agents in the U.S. are licensed with Sotheby’s International Realty

Part of the power behind the Sotheby’s International Realty brand is the networking and relationship opportunities between the 22,000 agents. Each and every event Hopper attends, he creates time to catch up with his associates in person. This is essential, because the large number of people relocating to Seattle means agents from outside the Pacific Northwest need a trusted advisor to work with their clients.

The event ended with a cocktail reception along the shores of Lake Tahoe with more networking and the opportunity to learn about each other’s respective marketplaces.

“We always look forward to seeing our friends across the brand and end up making new ones each and every time,” added Hopper. “Anywhere our clients need us, my team and I have a trusted real estate advisor ready to serve and deliver the same level of professional service.”

An evening of networking on Lake Tahoe.
