Curbed Seattle Steps Into An Artist’s Green Lake Tudor, Listed By Sabine Jacques

By RSIR Staff |

Curbed Seattle recently stepped through the door of an historic Tudor home in Green Lake, touting both its period details and its notable history, as it was the residence of cherished local artist Sheila Newman. Represented by Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty broker Sabine Jacques, the charming 1928 home is adorned by handsome brick and situated across the street from Green Lake’s recreation.

Of the home, Curbed says “it’s no surprise that an artist lived here” as it is “bursting with its original personality, including artsy attention to detail.” Writer Sarah Lloyd points to the living room’s stained-glass and leaded windows, and classic tiled fireplace, noting “little nooks waiting to be activated” all along the ground floor, from the “ornately carved-out” dining room to the studio and gallery space. “Drenched with light and ready to inspire the next person,” the space offers a reading nook and looks out over the backyard.
