Dean Jones, President & CEO of Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty (RSIR) has been invited to speak at the AREAA Global + Luxury Summit this coming April in Waikiki, Hawaii. As the AREAA website describes, the purpose of the event is to provide “an opportunity to learn from some of the most influential market makers and industry experts on topics related to international investment, emerging markets, working with international clients, and executing cross-border transactions. Learn about the latest trends, best practices, and the world’s hottest emerging luxury and investment markets in this powerful real estate event.”
With over 15,000 members, AREAA brings big industry names to discuss relevant trends and developments that pertain to both international and luxury markets. Jones was invited to speak on the “Making Your Market Matter” panel. As the event program reads, “for years, Vancouver, San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York City topped the list as the most sought after markets for Asian homebuyers but that’s changing. Relative affordability, education and economic fundamentals in secondary markets offer attractive alternatives – sometimes this is happening naturally and sometimes organizations are the catalyst. Join real estate leaders for this insightful case study of emerging cities that are becoming global gateways for immigration and investment and how your market could be next.”
In the panel, Jones will outline many of RSIR’s recent initiatives to target the rising demand for Asian immigration and investment to the area, including the firm’s Asia Services Group in addition to the recent launches of a custom WeChat App real estate portal and Seattle Luxury Living Magazine, created in partnership with Seattle Magazine’s Tiger Oak Publications.
Jones is thrilled to share his unique market insights and knowledge at this event, as he has attended for many years and previously spoke at two other Global + Luxury Summits: Hawaii in 2013 and Chicago in 2015.
