Dean Jones Judges Battle Of The Chefs 2016

By Cedric Allen |

Another successful night of wine, cooking and of course eating was had at this year’s LUXE Magazine’s “Battle of the Chefs” on September 28th. Our very own Dean Jones, President & CEO of Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty (RSIR), showed his support as a judge for the iron chef culinary competition that assembled some the leaders shaping the ever growing city of Seattle. Dean was joined by Greg Lill, Bob Bennion and Lisa Bingham Dewart to judge architects, builders, interior designers, and landscape professionals who threw their chef hats on at DeLille Cellars in Woodinville to impress the judges.

Thanks to the support from some of the industry’s top vendors, guests rocked hulas and tropical shirts in line with the Hawaiian and Jamaican fusion theme while they tasted the chef’s culinary creations. Raffle prizes and a silent auction added to the enjoyment of this friendly competition provided by main sponsors Abbrio, LUXE Interiors and Design PNW. RSIR brokers Becky Gray and Bill Cahill enjoyed all the entertainment while supporting an incredible program.

“It was a celebration of meeting new friends in the industry of design and food!” said Gray. “We honored the amazing Opportunity for Success Scholarship Program. Much laughter and creativity all for a super cause.”

These combined efforts benefited the O Wines Opportunity for Success Scholarship Program. Stacy Lill co-founder of the O Wines Scholarship Program was ecstatic expressing, “The 6th Annual Battle of the Chefs was a resounding success thanks to the caliber of Chefs and their teams, witty commentary from the judges, including Dean Jones, and the enthusiasm and bidding by a stellar crowd. I am grateful that the beneficiary was again the O Wines Scholarship Program which helps young women have the opportunity to go to college that may not otherwise have the ability to.”

According to their website, the O Wine Scholarship Program was founded in 2006 by Stacy Lill and Kathy Johanson to help low income promising young women gain better access to higher education.

Especially for such a great cause like the O Wines Scholarship Program.”
