Donate Today: Drop-Off School Supplies At RSIR Offices For Babies Of Homelessness

By RSIR Staff |

Heading back to school is an exciting time of year, but for children who are homeless in the Puget Sound area, it can be stressful and scary. Babies of Homelessness, an emergency crisis response team serving families experiences homelessness in King and Snohomish counties is sponsoring its third annual Back2School event to help alleviate that stress for low-income families in the community.

Now through August 9, you can help kids head back to school with a backpack full of the supplies they need by dropping off items at Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty Offices in Seattle, Kirkland, and Madison Park.

The most needed school supplies are: Backpacks (15-inch), watercolors, notebooks, and general school supplies.

Babies of Homelessness was founded in 2016 by RSIR broker Star Lalario. The organization primarily focuses on providing basic needs (diapers, formula, wipes, snacks) to families with young children (birth to age 8) experiencing homelessness in our area.

Families in need can attend the event August 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 16500 124th Ave NE, Woodinville.
