On Friday January 26th, Stacy Jones, Owner & Vice President of Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty joined 9 real estate thought leaders for The Moment Live – Seattle 2018: Presence is Power. The event covered a range of topics, from cutting edge creative marketing and best practices in video and social media, to the power of positive thinking and top-selling sales strategies.

The day’s events kicked off with featured speaker Tony Giordano, who discussed the importance of online marketing and reputation management in today’s digital atmosphere, before the first in a series of intimate, personal interviews began. Conducted by Jeramy Poole, CEO of Real Estate Social, each interview gave the speaker an opportunity to discuss their “moment” – when the lightbulb went off and their dreams began to transform into reality.
“Tony Giordono’s presentation was a great reminder that you can start and build lasting relationships on ‘the Fab 7’ social networks,” reflected Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty broker Joe Patterson. “While most of us just seem to be present online, his argument that you must have online presence inspired me to look at my business in a different and innovative way.”

The day continued with Thach Nguygen, CEO & Founder of Thach Real Estate Group, who discussed four steps to achieving your dreams. He shared his use of the concept of “Phuk Hau” (which loosely translates to “blessing” in Vietnamese) as a tool to encourage people to forget how they’re going make their goals become reality and instead focus on moving forward with inspired action.
After another “moment” interview, Monte Burris, Founder & Managing Partner of Trust Realty Group, took the stage to share his insights on value proposition and business model examples that are key for success in today’s real estate industry. Next Stacy Jones took the stage to chat with Jeramy Poole, from her journey building Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty to declaring 2018 a “year of the woman,” which she proved when she flipped the script and changed positions to interview Jeramy.
Stacy Jones was excited to have the opportunity to turn the tables on Jeramy Poole.
“My favorite moment was listening to Stacy talk about how her and Dean grew the firm from a living room business into a company with over $1 billion in annual sales,” said Michele Liang, broker with Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty. “They never cease to amaze me and I feel grateful to have them by my side.”
Later in the afternoon, Seth O’Bryne, a broker with Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty and President of The O’Bryne Team, talked about the power of video choosing to show rather than tell with a number of innovative approaches, including helping a family of dinosaurs find that perfect residence.
