Founding Director Moira Holley’s Listings Receive Well Deserved Attention

By Amanda Lybeck |

A big congratulations to Moira Holley, a Founding Director of Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty, who found two of her listings featured prominently on US media outlets last week.

First, Lumen Loft Penthouse received national attention as it was featured in Mike Powell’s December 17th Real Estate Spotlight for The New York Times.

In the article, which outlines what you can buy for $1,400,000, Powell says this property is elevated by its setting. He writes that Lumen is situated “in Lower Queen Anne, an active mixed-use neighborhood in central Seattle, about a mile from downtown. It is cater-corner from Seattle Center, a campuslike park that is home to the Space Needle, the Experience Music Project Museum, the Seattle Center Armory and plenty of places to people-watch. Amazon’s campus is a short walk away. Shops and restaurants are within blocks and a grocery store is even closer, on the retail level of this building.” He also praises the open nature of the loft, describing that, “folding walls of glass made by a company called NanaWall open to the interior, blending inside with out. The layout is open plan and loftlike, with terrazzo floors and concrete pillars for atmosphere. Recessed lighting runs on a Lutron control system. The living and dining area has a built-in cabinet with a frosted-glass door; the kitchen is set off by a low wall. The kitchen has a Liebherr refrigerator, an under-counter second fridge, two sinks and custom countertops made from terrazzo and a recycled composite called PaperStone. Built-in storage for a television delineates a den.”

On December 18th, Aubrey Cohen from the Seattle PI featured Pioneer Square Loft Condominium in her Seattle Real Estate Spotlight.

Cohen, who highlights just one Seattle property each week, writes that this property stands apart because “you can almost picture the young, hip protagonist of a movie, set in Seattle, living in a condo like this.” She also notes some of the many features, which include “exposed-brick walls, 18-foot-high wood ceilings, a wet bar and a loft master suite,” saying they are truly brought to the next level given that the condo is “set in Pioneer Square and looks over the waterfront.”
