On Tuesday, June 28th, the Hopper Group Team of Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty (RSIR) hosted a spectacular private home tour event at their Tumble Creek Lodge listing in Tumble Creek at Suncadia Resort in Cle Elm. Many locals residents of Tumble Creek came out to view the nearly 8,000 square feet log palatial masterpiece, located on the 12th hole fairway of the Tumble Creek private golf course.
“We were thrilled with the response the guests had to the home. It was especially fun to hear people’s reactions to the many design features, and custom work that went into this spectacular property, as guests explored the home and grounds,” said event host Brian Hopper, team lead of Hopper Group at RSIR. “An open house is one thing, but putting together a luxury lifestyle event home tour is what a property offering like this warrants, and we are proud to host it. These types of events build community, bringing people together, and that is what we are all about.”
Guests were treated to a red carpet entrance to the home, as well as a Hollywood style “step and repeat” photo backdrop! The event included cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, wine tastings and more. Opes Advisors senior loan advisor Emily Bort and her team were on hand with give-aways as well as providing home tours to guests.
Those in attendance were awestruck with this one-of-a-kind mountain retreat. “The waterfall and lagoon was so beautiful, and I loved that it is a swimming pool,” stated Donna Olsen of Browns Point, who attended the event. “I could totally imagine hosting my family at the home. It is perfect for entertaining and would be fun during the holidays – truly a masterpiece.”
The home was built as a mountain retreat for a local software developer in 2008 and served as just that for him and his family. “There are very few nails in the entire home,” said the owner. “It is put together like a giant Lincoln Log set!”
The nearly 8,000 square foot home boasts an entire master suite floor, plus 3 guest suites, each having their own level in the home, their own balcony, fireplace, and full bathroom. Situated on over an acre on the 12th fairway of the Private Tumble Creek Golf Course, there are 8 bathrooms, 8 fireplaces, 2 kitchens, a golf simulator/theatre room, pistol range, and a massive outdoor living space, all centered around the 30,000 gallon swimming lagoon fed by two 15 foot waterfalls, and two creeks, including one that flows under the home and into the lagoon. As the owner describes, another unique feature about the property is that “the home has no sheet-rock in it except in the garage (a small portion wall around the pool control center).”
Jason and Erin Morin, owners of Ancestry Cellars (located in Woodinville & just opened in Lake Chelan) were on hand pouring wonderful tastings of their 2012 Cabernet Reserve amongst other incredible wines. In addition to the fine wine, Justin and Jennifer Stifle of Heritage Distilling Co. (located in Gig Harbor & soon to be in Rosyln) were gladly pouring samples of their latest release, a “brown sugar bourbon,” as well as other spirits. Complementing the fine tasting’s, guests enjoyed exploring the property and grounds, as well as trying their hand at a stroke or two at the indoor golf simulator!
“It was especially neat to hear from the locals who attended speak about the builders vision of the home, and all that went into making of this work of art,” said Rocky Poulin of Hopper Group. “The home has so much details and art infused throughout.”
The private event was held immediately following the awards ceremony of the Russell Wilson-Kasey Kahne celebrity golf charity event on the Tumble Creek Golf Course called THE DRIVE. “We were honored to be able to participate in THE DRIVE charity event benefiting Seattle Children’s Hospital this year presenting a generous offering from our client: a one night stay at the Tumble Creek Lodge, plus dinner for two at Portals Restaurant at Suncadia Lodge, and a round of golf at the Tumble Creek Golf Course,” Hopper said. “Over $1800 was raised by the high bidder who will be enjoying a night at this fabulous property, and giving to a great cause!” Hopper added.
