By RSIR Staff |

The National Association of Gay and Lesbian Real Estate Professionals (NAGLREP) today unveiled the real estate industry’s first recognition of top producing LGBT and allied agents and teams. The NAGLREP Top LGBT+ Agent List recognizes more than 60 organization members.

Jay Kipp, of Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty, was named to the list having produced over $28 million in sales volume in 2017.

“We are thrilled to honor Jay and these incredible real estate professionals,” said Jeff Berger, founder of NAGLREP. “The creation of the list is a milestone in our 11 years of existence and is another major step forward in our work to promote LGBT and allied agents and teams who do so much in our communities.”

Berger pointed out that NAGLREP.com receives more than 75,000 unique visitors a month, mostly consisting of LGBT home buyers and sellers, and Kipp will have a NAGLREP Top LGBT+ agent icon added to his profile page on the site to assist in marketing efforts.

NAGLREP, now in its 11th year, has 25 chapters around the nation and has grown to more than 2,000 members as one of the largest LGBT trade groups in the U.S.

With fifteen years of expertise in residential real estate, Jay Kipp brings a wealth of knowledge regarding appraisal, market analysis, capital markets and property marketing to every real estate transaction. For 2018, Jay ranked third in sales volume at RSIR’s Seattle office. He is the only RSIR residential real estate member of the Forbes Real Estate Council, an invitation-only organization for executives in the real estate industry. Additionally, Jay is a member of the Sotheby’s International Realty Next Gen Affinity Group, a collection of 40 agents—of 21,000 companywide, hand-selected by Julie Leonhardt LaTorre, COO of Sotheby’s International Realty—that lend voice and insight in how to best shape the company’s future. He is also an active member of the Sotheby’s International Realty Exceptional Agent Network, a collegial forum of brokers in all major metro-markets and select destination cities who share best practices and local market insight across North America.

“Real estate is known as one of the most competitive industries in the world, where inspiration, drive and a deep consumer understanding are vital to succeed,” said Kevin Thompson, Chief Marketing Officer of Sotheby’s International Realty, which sponsored the NAGLREP Top LGBT+ Agent List. “Our success is directly connected to our ability to attract the best talent in the world, which needs to be as diverse and inclusive as the clients we serve. The first Top LGBT + Agent List gives us an opportunity to showcase real estate’s top professionals who combine outstanding service and unmatched market knowledge with an impeccable work ethic and insatiable desire to succeed.”

All sales professionals and teams ranked in the NAGLREP Top LGBT+ Agent List appeared on the 2018 REAL Trends America’s Best Real Estate Professionals ratings sponsored by Adwerx and are ranked in the top one-half of 1 percent of more than 1.3 million Realtors® nationwide.

Kipp looks forward to attending the NAGLREP National Conference in Palm Springs October 2nd to 4th along with fellow RSIR agent Joe Patterson, Patrick Martin of the Sotheby’s International Realty – Sunset Strip Brokerage, and Herman Chan of Golden Gate Sotheby’s International Realty.
