Madison Park Times Highlights The Forthcoming Arkitektor Project In Madison Valley

By RSIR Staff |

Last month, Madison Park Times looked at recent construction activity in Madison Park, highlighting the forthcoming Arkitektor Project, which will bring a collection of rowhouses and townhomes to the Madison Valley neighborhood. As the article proclaims, Steven Han, who is behind noted Seattle restaurants including Momiji and Umi Sake House, “has a new project in the pipeline, and it has nothing to do with food.” This time, Han, along with his business partner Lawrence Yeh, is working on “the construction of four rowhouses and four townhomes at 111-115 26th Ave E in Madison Valley.”

As Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty broker Carlene Pride, who helped the developers purchase the lot, tells the Times, one of the owners lives in Broadmoor and adores the area. “It was just a really great opportunity,” Pride added. She describes the rowhouse design as a “New York/Brooklyn-style meets the Pacific Northwest vibe” with stoops, steel canopies and private entries. The townhomes, on the other hand, will provide a more traditional appeal, “organized around a bamboo garden with roofs specifically engineered to support planters and pots.” Something each home will have in common? The kitchens will be enviable and a main focus, which comes as no surprise given that the developers background is firmly rooted in the culinary world.
