The Puget Sound Business Journal named Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty the 24th fastest growing private company in Washington state on October 10th, 2013. An estimated 550 guests gathered at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel where anticipation filled the air. Business Journal Publisher Gordon Prouty and columnist Patti Payne announced company rankings from 100 to 51 and the top 50 companies were personally introduced and offered an opportunity to share their secrets to success.
“We were very proud to be again recognized amongst our peers across numerous industries,” said Dean Jones, Principal of the brokerage firm. “This accomplishment is a collective of efforts made by more than seventy real estate professionals and employees last year. Of course, we remain appreciative for the support of hundreds of clients that were able to successfully buy and sell real estate with our firm.”
In 2012 Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty was acknowledged as the second fastest growing private company in Washington state. Locally researched by Bonnie Graves of the Puget Sound Business Journal, the top Washington companies are ranked by the percentage of revenue growth from 2010 to 2012. Companies must have begun 2012 as an independent, privately held corporation or partnership (not a subsidiary or subdivision), and must have a minimum of $500,000 in revenue.
Accepting the award on behalf all brokers and employees were: Founding Director Moira Holley, Owners Dean and Stacy Jones, Broker Sean Nielsen, Founding Director Julie Roh, Marketing Manager Andrea Savage, Founding Director Jim Stroupe, Founding Director Scott Wasner and Director of Sales & Designated Broker Chad Zinda making a fun and gratuitous ‘forward thinking’ picture to next year’s placement of #1.
“While only a few of us attended in person we were sure to dedicate this award to our entire team,” says Stacy Jones, Vice-President and Owner or Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty. “We set out a few years ago to build a different kind of real estate brokerage – one based on a model that aligns our clients, our brokers and the company alike. Our growth and collective success makes me feel like we’re well on our way.”
The global real estate firm was officially opened with a single real estate branch in downtown Seattle in 2010 and was followed be a second branch office on Bainbridge Island in 2011. By 2012 Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty expanded market coverage to Kitsap County, the South Sound and the North Sound by appointing strategic brokers. In 2013 the company announced expansion to the Eastside and is currently under construction with a new flagship branch in downtown Kirkland and anticipates.
