RSIR Broker Jay Kipp Speaks At Third Annual Hawaii Networking Event

By RSIR Staff |

In early May, Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty (RSIR) broker Jay Kipp flew to Poipu, Kauai to attend the third annual Hawaii Networking Event, which brought hundreds of brokers together from around the Sotheby’s International Realty affiliates global network. This year’s event focused on ways to live, innovate, collaborate and differentiate through keynote and guest speeches, a panel, property tours and other networking/breakout opportunities.

“It’s always great to have a chance to connect with our fellow affiliates from key feeder markets to discuss market trends, tour extraordinary properties and share other insight,” reflected Kipp, who was invited to speak on a panel of brokers from around the U.S. “Nothing compares to a room filled with rock star Sotheby’s International Realty brokers!”

Keynote speaker Larry Kendall, founding partner of The Group, Inc. and author of Ninja Selling: Subtle Skills. Big Results, talked about how he has honed his training system, providing both daily and weekly tips that lead to success. Other featured speakers included Andrew Greenwell, Chief Executive Officer, Venture Sotheby’s International Realty; Jon Meschke, Vice President – Affiliate Services, Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates, LLC; and John Passerini, Global VICE President – Interactive Marketing, Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates, LLC.

An article published in Hawaii Island Homes outlined highlights from the event, noting that “a critical topic of discussion was the psyche of the mainland buyer interested in Hawaii property, considering what is important to the buyer, such as the general market overview and Hawaii lifestyle.”

As Courtney Brown, a top-producing Sotheby’s International Realty broker on Maui tells Hawaii Island Homes, “It’s refreshing to know that our relationships with brokers in other markets are there to assist when we have that extraordinary listing. These relationships between brokers can facilitate an introduction to that special buyer who may be coming from the West Coast market and it’s just a phone call away to reach this unique network.”
