RSIR Brokers Tracy Vaughn & Mark Middleton Use The Power Of Teamwork To Help Their Clients Move Into The Bainbridge Island Lifestyle

Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty (RSIR) brokers Tracy Vaughn and Mark Middleton were thrilled to once again partner up, using the power of teamwork to help their clients Jason and Dana sell a home in Seattle while purchasing a property on Bainbridge Island, allowing for a seamless transition out of the city and into the Island’s coveted lifestyle.

When Jason and Dana first began their search on Bainbridge Island, they were passed over in a few multiple-offer situations because their purchase was contingent upon the sale of their Seattle townhome. So, with Tracy and Mark’s advisement, they decided to “go for it” and listed the property quickly so they’d be able to compete in the Island’s fiercely competitive market.

One week before their Seattle townhome went active, the adjacent property—with the same layout—went pending for $800,000. Using careful strategic planning with marketing and timing, Tracy helped Jason and Dana list their home as soon as the neighboring one went pending, to drive up interest in the property. One of the buyers who had lost out the week before was committed to winning this one, and through Tracy’s stellar representation, they closed at $848,000, a staggering $149K above list price, with a two-month free rentback.

Mark then used the proceeds and rentback from the Seattle townhome sale to help Jason and Dana secure a dream home in a multiple-offer situation on a Meadowmeer residence situated on nearly an acre with easy access to Grand Forest, the Olson Waterfront Park, and Bainbridge Athletic Club.

“Collaborating with Mark to achieve the best results for our clients always seems to look like a ballet – smooth with an outstanding outcome,” reflected Tracy. “We have a team approach and work carefully together to optimize our clients’ goals.”

The Seattle townhome closed at the end of April and the clients are now in the midst of moving into their new Bainbridge Island address. When asked to reflect on the experience, they said “we are so grateful for all the hard work Mark and Tracy put into selling our home and securing our dream home. The outcome could not have been better—we are so thankful to have worked with this team!”
