In a recent article outlining the rapid speed of the housing market in the Seattle area, Seattle PI focuses on one segment of the market that is seeing a summer slowdown: luxury homes. The result is that though luxury listings are still receiving multiple offers, they “aren’t experiencing the same kind of frenzy as the rest of the market; two or three bids as opposed to five or six.” The feature includes three “scrumptious high-end listings on the Eastside market,” including Sammamish River Estate, listed by Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty broker Lauren Jones.
As the article describes, Sammamish River Estate is “a gated and private residence perfectly appointed on 1.15 acres. Turreted architecture and sky-high windows welcome occupants to a light-filled oasis, with a full-equipped chef’s kitchen, outdoor putting green, theater, and 2,000 bottle wine cellar. Escape to a master wing with executive den, or enjoy the waterfront from the 120-foot high-bank waterfront.”
