Sean Nielsen & Ashley Flynn Sell NFL Pro Home At The Reserve At Newcastle; Sets Record As First Sale Above $3M In Neighborhood Since 2008

In just three short days, Sean Nielsen and Ashley Flynn, brokers with Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty (RSIR), sold this extraordinary Newcastle home owned by former Seattle Seahawks Wide Receiver and Current ESPN Commentator Nate Burleson. Not only did it sell the first weekend with little time on the market, it sold over the original asking price. What’s more? This marks the first sale in the Reserve over $2.5M in seven years and the only sale over $3M since the home was sold to the Burlesons’ back in 2008.

As the graph below indicates, not only did the $3,100,000 sale price mark the first in the neighborhood since 2008, it also fetched a much higher price than has been seen in the area in some time given that the last sale over $2M in the Reserve was in 2011.

That seems quite a feat, especially given that home was previously listed without success. Sean and Ashley elevated it through unique staging, premium photography and strategic marketing. Before listing, the home was cleaned, restaged and given its own brand. Establishing a brand for a home is important in many cases, but especially so when it comes to a professional athlete’s property, as players typically brand themselves and transform into spokesman with their own businesses, memorabilia and products. Thus Sean and Ashley worked to complement their brand and marketing endeavors with strategic property features and special events.

A “Blue Friday” event was attended by many, as brokers interacted, viewed the incredible home and entered to win Seahawks swag including a Russell Wilson jersey and a Super Bowl video.
