High-Tech High-Rise Exhibit a Popular Booth during Annual South Lake Union Attraction

Over the weekend of August 20th and 21st, members of the NEXUS Sales and Marketing Team joined brokers from Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty and preferred audio/visual provider Wipliance at a proud exhibit stationed at the 2016 Seattle Street Food Festival.  Noted as Seattle’s largest independent food festival, the annual event attracts more than 60,000 attendees and over 200 small businesses.  According to both attendants, it seemed like everyone stopped by NEXUS with several new reservations accepted curbside and others that immediately followed. In total seven homes were reserved for priority presale over the weekend including private appointments that were made Monday.

“We were thrilled with the exposure and the extraordinary support for this new development soon to rise in the neighborhood,” said Michael Cannon, Sales Director for NEXUS Condominiums.  “It was interesting that someone would come for the kettle corn but leave with a condominium reservation, but that’s precisely what occurred on a number of occasions.”

Cannon said many attendees were already familiar with the project and others specifically came to meet with him on location after announcing the Preview Center would be experienced alfresco for the featured weekend.  Hot temperatures and an abundance of food trucks and other promotions created a very energized and urbane environment.  Primary sponsors included Amazon and Car2Go with proceeds benefiting The South Lake Union Chamber of Commerce.  NEXUS is an active supporter of the chamber and can be found gracing the back cover of the Discover South Lake Union Magazine.

Among the attractions was the opportunity to win SONOS speakers compliments of Wipliance – congratulations A. Sawyers and J. Tan.   Additionally, GeekWire provided a pair of VIP tickets to their upcoming GeekWire Gala on November 7th – congratulations C. Dumba for winning the raffle.
