Executives of Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty (RSIR) announced today that real estate veteran Lisa Whittaker has been appointed as a Founding Member to the firm’s new branch office in downtown Bellevue.

“Lisa is a long-time friend, peer, and well-respected member of the real estate community—we are elated that she aligned with Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty,” said Stacy Jones, Vice President & Chief People Officer, RSIR. “We look forward to welcoming Lisa’s thought leadership as we commence operations on Old Main Street in downtown Bellevue and together, we’ll deliver an extraordinary experience for our brokers and their clients.”
Whittaker’s depth of real estate sales experience spans two decades with a sales portfolio that exceeds $500M in local production. Her expertise is in the sale and procurement of luxury properties in the region’s most coveted enclaves including West Bellevue, Medina, Clyde Hill, the greater Eastside and Seattle. Joining RSIR will help extend Whittaker’s market coverage to feeder markets and destination properties around the world.
“My passion for progressive marketing and yearning for interstate and international referral connections led my decision to align with Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty,” said Whittaker. “I am proud to be a true advisor and client advocate with all property types and price points, around the corner and around the globe. RSIR shares in my commitment to integrity and I’m excited for what the future will bring in my role as a Founding Member of the new Bellevue branch office. Economic fundamentals on the Eastside are strong and we expect tremendous growth over the coming decade and beyond.”
Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty consistently ranks high in its production on a per-broker basis, its percentage of top-producing agents, and boasts among the highest average list prices and buy sides when compared to its peers in the top ten largest local real estate brands (according to Trendgraphix research). The firm is consistently recognized by Puget Sound Business Journal on the annual list of “100 Fastest Growing Private Companies” in Washington state and has often been named among the “Largest Residential Real Estate Firms” in the region.
“Our success is rooted in the company we keep, from our world-class brokers to our talented employees and top executives,” reflected Jones. “We have also taken a unique approach to the concept of the real estate office, inviting the community into dynamic spaces where people want to gather: whether it’s the Old Hardware Store in downtown Winslow on Bainbridge Island, our connection to Maison DeLille wine lounge in Kirkland, or the forthcoming Bellevue office where a unique retail and café concept will come to life next year.”
When complete in March 2020, the new Bellevue branch office will be fronted by the B-Bar, a café by day and cocktail lounge by night operated by Joe Vilardi of the iconic Bis on Main restaurant, located next door. The lifestyle venue will also host a private event center and co-working lounge offering brokers and clients valet parking and convenient food and beverage options in store.
