Weekend Event Guide: Kirkland Summerfest

By Amanda Lybeck |

Kirkland Summerfest, the city’s premiere summer waterfront festival of art, music, food and family fun is in full swing! The streets are alive as countless have already made it to the city’s largest festival, which features visual and performing arts, spectator sports, family rides, entertainment, over 150 vendors and food trucks and more, all on the streets of downtown. We’re here enjoying the gorgeous sunshine and dynamic atmosphere, and we’d love it if you’d join us for a quiet break in the midst of the party to view beautiful homes and art in the Connoisseurs of Life Showroom and see Kirkland at its best.

With so much fun slated all weekend it’s hard to know what activities to make it to but here are a few things that have us especially excited:

This afternoon and evening, groove to the musical stylings of Kellee Bradley, The Fabulous Roof Shakers, and Cherry Cherry, located on the Main Stage from 3:15 to 6 pm.

Drop by the CANVAS! Paint & Sip Studio booth to sign up for free classes offered at noon, two, and four pm.

The kids will revel in the opportunity to touch a firetruck, listen to Radio Disney, play in the Kids Zone, and more.

Finally, come check out Maison DeLille, Kirkland’s Premier Wine Lounge, where sipping on exquisite artisan wines by the glass or bottle is perfectly paired with daily happenings for a vibrant atmosphere. Saturday is On the Promenade, where views and varietals are paired in the open air, and Sunday is Sip and Savor, where you can taste four wines for $15 (free when you buy two bottles). So after you’ve enjoyed the festivities, get off your feet and out of the sun, and unwind with a glass of DeLille Cellars Premium Wine. And we’ll see you at Summerfest!
