Admiral

Located on the Duwamish Head mesa, the Admiral neighborhood is the northernmost point of the West Seattle peninsula. You’ll find plenty of history in this community: the Hiawatha Playfield and Community Center is the oldest community center west of Mississippi. Here, homeowners make up a little more than half of the residents, and neighbors flock to explore Schmitz Preserve Park, 53.1 acres of old-growth forests boasting 1.7 miles of hiking trails. As Admiral abuts Alki Beach you don’t have to travel far to find beautiful views, whether it’s a sunny Seattle day or there are clouds on the horizon.
