As we cling to these last few days of our beautiful Pacific Northwest summer — enjoying the outdoors, the water, and just letting a fresh breeze come through our windows, it’s also the perfect time to pick up a book and take it to the beach. If you’re ready to soak up the last of the sun on a warm summer day, consider picking up a reading recommendation by Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty‘s Chief People Officer Stacy Jones.
This July, Puget Sound Business Journal reached out to Seattle-area leaders to share what they’d recommend to others off their bookshelf. Influencers tapped by PSBJ shared two, often very different books to showcase a variety of reading choices: literary, contemporary fiction, non-fiction, and memoirs among others.
Stacy Jones’ shared The Go-Giver: A Little Story About a Powerful Business Idea, by Bob Burb and John D. Mann. “It’s about business and life and living with abundance through giving of self.” Jones’ second pick was Kimi Eisele’s debut novel, The Lightest Object In The Universe. “There’s so much darkness in the world […] this gravitates towards faith and the human spirit. That’s kind of where my energy is.”
