About one year ago, I talked to Amy about my plans to sell my home. One of the challenges was that I won't be in town during the sale process. She was patient and understanding and she kept me up to date throughout the year on the housing market. When I notified her that I ready to sell near the end of last year, she moved quickly. We discussed about different scenarios on how to maximize the sale. She referred me to a great contractor which I could monitor remotely throughout the whole renovation process. She continued to keep me up to date on the housing market and suggested that we move quickly as soon as renovations were done. She also has access to top professionals to help with marketing including staging, videography, and photography. Within a few days of listing we accepted an offer that was beyond what I expected at the current market. Two thumbs up for Amy.

We were planning to move out of state so we only had about a month for us to move out while also getting the house ready to sell. She quickly got her team together and guided us what should be done and by when and even helped us contact the people to help, such as stager, cleaners, repair contractors, maintenance crew. We were really busy and she even reach out for us to schedule these so we wouldn't fall behind schedule. We were really nervous about all the logistics, especially once we had moved and the house was listed, but she was very reassuring and explained the process so that we would feel good about moving and leaving the house in her hands for listing. Overall, the preparation process was pretty hands-off from us, and we're super thankful to Amy for that. The goals she focused on meant she would be involved almost daily with us, guiding us every step of the way. She is a “hands on” person and is aware of everything that needs to be done to market the home to obtain maximum value. From the time we signed the listing papers, she advised us on the importance of timing the sale and made a list of things we needed to have done to prepare the condo to sell. The vendors Amy recommended were very reasonable and did a wonderful job of cleaning and painting the house, pruning and pressure washing the entry area and decks of the condo. She called on her team of experts to stage and photograph the condo for the listing. They were top notch! Amy works with only the best and because of her success, she is always busy, but she makes you feel like she has all the time in the world for you. Local knowledge Process expertise Responsiveness Negotiation skills I cant speak highly enough of my experience with Amy Thompson. I was fortunate enough in getting connected with her to help me find a home in an incredibly competitive market, Bellevue WA. I knew my chances were fairly slim and in the back of my mind was already looking to search for a home in surrounding areas like Issaquah or Redmond. Through out the years I've had the experience of working through 4 other real estate transactions and I knew right away when talking to Amy, she was someone i could trust and confident she'd help represent me in purchasing a home. Amy was always focused on answering my questions, giving good advice, and finding homes that met my needs. Fortunately for me, one such home came on the market, and upon touring I knew it was our dream home, as I am sure was for many other folks who viewed it. I also knew that the competition would be fierce for this home. It was the perfect home in every aspect (location, charm, size). The market in general was hot so we needed to act fast. The only problem was that I wasnt ready. There was no loan pre-approval in place. I didnt even have a lender chosen submitted any application. I relied and trusted on Amy to come up with a game plan. We were desperate and put our trust in Amy on what needed to be done. We saw the house on a Friday at about 3 PM. The next day on Saturday at 7 AM we had an offer in place. Amy and I had worked all night. She stayed up with me, contacted lenders. Convinced them to process my application asap. Time was of the essence. I trusted Amy and her plan which she put together, which included comps of homes in the area and at what price we should make the offer. We needed to make a good offer if we didnt want this home to go all the way to review date. If it did, there would have been a bidding war, one which i probably would have lost out on. Amy spent all night with me, making sure I had all my paperwork filled out correctly as well as a real estate 'love' letter addressed to the homeowner. This offer needed to be special if we were going to win this outside of the review day/bidding war. I was surprised my loan pre-approval came within 24 hours. First step was complete. Now the challenging part was presenting this offer to the seller. I trusted Amy and let her work whatever magic she had to talk to the selling agent and seller. On Monday, two days before the the seller was going to review all the other offers, he accepted ours. Mission accomplished! I dont know how Amy did it, but she did. The offer we made after seeing the comps in the area definitely came well under what other homes in the area were going for but still competitive enough for the seller to accept. We couldnt have done this without the market expertise and confidence demonstrated by Amy. Her hard work and knowledge of what it takes to buy a home in a tough market for buyers really paid off. Amy walked me through every step of the closing process and following up with lenders and escrow to make sure my closing date was on time. She is a true professional and a genuinely nice person. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better broker to represent you whether buying or selling. I now consider Amy a friend and pretty much a part of our extended family as a result of this process. I'll never use another broker/agent and neither should you.

I found Amy while I was looking for rentals in the greater Seattle area. I had contacted several agents while doing a rental search. Amy stood out the most to me because she responded so quickly to my questions and was able to schedule a showing. She made sure to update me and even called me to make sure I didn't have any questions. Once I saw the property she reached out to follow up on my thoughts on the property. In the end, we went with a different rental, but Amy was still so pleasant and more than willing to help us if we ever decided to buy in the future. I found a lot of the agents here in the Seattle area are too busy for customers or have a rude demeanor towards renters. Amy never passed judgement and treated me like a first class customer. We are a military family and that is why we have to rent in this area. We aren't here long enough to buy a home. Amy took the time to get to know me and my needs for a rental. She is very knowledgable about school systems, market trends and specific areas. I am grateful for her and will pass her information along to my friends who are in the market to buy or rent.

I am not the type to leave a review but Amy has gone the extra mile with helping me get the right house. I am an investor and I have met many realtors. She is not the pushy to pressure me to buy. She showed us many homes and drove long distances to make sure we find the right one. Then she offered great strategies to buy without raising the price. She is incredibly good at negotiating even though we were going against 6 other bids on this short sale. She was not done after closing. She helped us get all the utilities set up and hired contractor to fix up the home for rental. Her marketing was so good that we have always had multiple rental request from great tenants.
