About Me
Knowledge is the best investment, and Diane B Tien uses this quote as a polestar to craft a winning strategy for her clients. She is a meticulous and patient gatherer of information and tenacious to pursue every differentiating data to help make a deciding difference to favor her clients. With a solutions-based approach, she assists clients on every step of their home purchase or sale, including connecting homeowners with the services they need long after the deal.
Diane’s diverse professional experience lends itself to clients of all needs: She minored in law, worked as a K-12 technology specialist, as an art docent in the Forbidden City in Beijing, and as part of a successful start-up company in Boston. She enjoys learning, improving and so naturally recently applied to study at MIT in the Real Estate Professional Education program. As a writer and a storyteller, her communications show depth, the context in the value of details. She is meticulous.
Diane understands the relocation process as she has moved several times across the country and the world. She landed back in the Pacific Northwest and focused on finding the right community for her family.
As a result of her positive experience, she happily gives back to her community. As a global real estate advisor, she can harness these relationships to secure the area’s top and emerging architects, interior designers, and more with home buyers and sellers alike.
Diane is active in her community, currently serving on the board for Parentedge, a community organization dedicated to supporting the mental health of school-age children. She is a proud Rotarian and a member of her local Chamber of Commerce. She was also a co-founder of the Seattle Women’s Action Team (SWAT), a grassroots effort to organize and activate suburban women for the 2020 election. Diane writes a blog regularly with her sister, Barrett-Sisters.com, and cherishes the time she gets to spend with her three sons and their wonder dog, Kent.
