Broker Perspectives | Legacy Plan And Culture

By RSIR Staff |

In Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty’s (RSIR) Broker Perspective series, we feature insightful discussions with the industry’s top professionals. In the latest episode, Dean Jones interviews Global Real Estate Advisor Rachel Schindler and Economist Matthew Gardner about RSIR’s Legacy Plan, finding a team and brokerage that supports your growth, work-life balance, and more.

“Other individual brokers are in a fiefdom or within their own company, but again, they’re working in isolation, and that just doesn’t make sense from a math standpoint,” Gardner explained. “Because it’s a missed opportunity that you can have with this program. So, you’re really spinning your own wheels as much as you can but it’s in isolation.” If the RSIR culture proves anything, it’s that we are stronger together, and the brokerage is committed to providing the tools, classes, networking opportunities, and support that feed this culture of collaboration. As a part of the brand’s Legacy Plan, RSIR provides stability, succession planning, and long-term career pathways.

Plus, Rachel Schindler introduces her RE-VESTA colleagues, Krissy Ayad and Kelly Kang, and they discuss how their careers have transformed since joining the team and RSIR.

“Being part of a team–and thankfully, Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty helps us with us–is that we do come from a place of abundance,” said Rachel. “As Robyn Hsu and I age, and we have the legacy planning behind us, it really is about building a business that we can pass on to our wonderful agents so that we can step out but still be involved and still have some financial benefit from all of the work and mentoring we’ve done to bring them forward.”
