One of the fastest-growing areas in the state, Maple Valley presents a home away from the bustle of the city, but within commuting distance to both Seattle and Eastside. While its population may be small, its events are not. The community takes pride in its annual festivals and gatherings, including the Annual Fishing Derby at Lake Wilderness Music in Park, Maple Valley Days, the Fourth of July Celebration, and the holiday tree lighting in December. A heartwarming tradition, one of their annual community events is “Make a Difference Day” in which neighbors gather to help each other.
