RSIR CEO Dean Jones Honored Among “Power 100” List By Puget Sound Business Journal

By Alyssa Morrison |

The Puget Sound Business Journal has released its annual list of the “Power 100”, and Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty (RSIR) is proud to share that Dean Jones has been recognized as one of the preeminent business leaders in the Puget Sound. The yearly compendium of Presidents, CEOs, Founders, and more seeks to celebrate the area’s most valued leaders—stretching far beyond a company’s revenue or net worth. And this year, the editors of the list focused on those who rose above an otherwise tumultuous and uncertain time to bring about strength, community bonds, and economic growth.

“Thank you Puget Sound Business Journal for including me among the Power 100 honorees for 2020,” Jones shared after learning he was among those honored.

Jones, alongside CPO Stacy Jones, has worked tirelessly to ensure RSIR continued to support a growing network of brokers and staff with creative marketing solutions that were particularly critical during the governor’s stay-at-home order. His thought leadership, as often authored and shared in publications like PSBJ and the Wall Street Journal, also served as a beacon for those within RSIR as well as others in the real estate industry. Jones started the year by reporting on market trends in downtown Seattle, as well as providing an in-depth look at the region in RSIR’s Annual Report and continued to keep a close eye on real estate market trends during this uncertain year.

The Power 100 is meant to be a snapshot of a year marked by upheaval, according to PSBJ.

And for RSIR and Jones, 2020 has also been a year for new beginnings. The brokerage celebrated its 10th anniversary in February and opened the doors to Bellevue and Mercer Island offices. The flagship downtown Bellevue branch was not only a long-awaited dream for the Joneses in creating a destination on the Eastside but it’s also home to a new vision for the future of real estate: The B-Bar, operated by Joe Vilardi of Zagat-rated Bis on Main, offers opportunities for brokers and the community to meet and collaborate while grabbing a “B-bite” and coffee by day or full entrees, craft cocktails and fine wines by night.

“I’m truly humbled to be acknowledged alongside so many leaders and influencers I respect, including several I’m thrilled to know personally as friends and industry peers,” said Jones. “This recognition is a reflection of the great efforts by our Executive Team, our employees, our brokers, and our brand. They say “hindsight is 2020″ and this year that takes on a whole new meaning for all of us—what a ride.”

While the atmosphere created by the Joneses is one of community development, it has also provided an incredible environment for economic growth 2020: Jones helmed the brokerage to a milestone year in production as RSIR is expected to produce $2.5 billion in annual sales and the greatest percentage growth when compared with the top ten largest residential real estate brands in the Puget Sound region.

Congratulations, Dean Jones!
