The New York Times Opens The Door To A 1913 Craftsman Listed By Sarah Suhadolnik

The New York Times recently took a look at $1 Million Homes in Minnesota, Mississippi and Washington, and opened the door to a 1913 Craftsman listed by Sarah Suhadolnik, a broker with Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty. The ultra-quiet, rare Eastlake craftsman enjoys a fully fenced private outdoor oasis that allows you to forget you are centrally located in one of Seattle’s most urban neighborhoods.

As the article outlines, the home’s Eastlake location offers excellent access to the tech hub at South Lake Union, the University of Washington and the coveted Tops K-8 School. The interior features a desirable layout with 4 upper bedrooms and Old-World Charm enhanced by hardwoods, high ceilings and original millwork. The Times writes that “the adjacent formal dining room has a double pocket door, built-in drawers and cabinets and two walls of original lead glass windows,” while “the kitchen has slab granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, Marmoleum flooring and an original laundry chute that connects to a second-floor bedroom and the basement.”

Moving outdoors, the Times remarks on its set back position on the lot, “which has a mature garden with fir trees and shrubbery and is surrounded by a fence.” The home also features off-street parking, easy access to transit and freeways, and a short walk to top-rated eateries, shops and parks.
