The Hotshot Crew Challenge is finally here and more than 40 King County leaders have aligned with local fire departments to compete for the coveted title of “Hotshot Crew 2017” in the Medic One Foundation’s annual challenge. The contest, which runs from October 18th to 27th, will raise funds to support the training and education of 24 new Medic One paramedics in addition to much-needed life-saving equipment. This year, Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty (RSIR) is thrilled to share that our Owner and Vice President, Stacy Jones, is a co-chair of the event along with Stacy Lill, Founder and CEO of Cashmere Consulting. The “double Stacy” team is supporting the “Red Hot Redmond Hotshots.”

RSIR brokers Moira Holley, Anton Krivenyshev and Brian Hopper recently attended the 2017 GeekWire Summit, which took place in downtown Seattle October 10th and 11th. One of the country’s premier technology conferences, the annual Summit brings together over 900 innovators, entrepreneurs, business executives, and tech leaders to explore the future of the innovation economy. Given the influence technology continues to have on the evolving real estate industry and the Emerald City’s economy, it was an excellent opportunity to learn from some of the best in tech.
From September 20th to 22nd, a collective of real estate agents from Washington state convened at the 2017 Washington REALTORS® Fall Business Conference to discuss a variety of topics, from legislative steering and professional standards, to regional roundtables for a more local focus. Michael X. Ford, Designated Broker and Seattle Branch Manager of Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty (RSIR) joined brokers Bob Wold, Eddie Chang and Jason Gibbons for the event, which was held in Pasco. Chang, who is based out of RSIR’s Kirkland office, also celebrated his graduation from the 2017 Leadership Institute, a program that motivates a select group of brokers to build upon their leadership skills and “exert a strong, positive influence on the future of the Association” and the broader real estate profession as a whole.

Thousands of affiliates from the Sotheby’s International Realty network ascended upon Las Vegas September 25th to 27th for the brand’s Global Networking Event, which brings brokers, owners, managers and sales associates together for exclusive networking and learning opportunities with keynote speeches, breakout panels and cocktail receptions. The event, which was held at the Wynn Las Vegas, was attended by a staggering 2,400 members of the Sotheby’s International Realty network, with more than 155 of the brand’s companies represented from 34 countries and territories worldwide.

Scores of guests assembled at MG2 Architecture in downtown Seattle during an evening reception on September 28th about the future of the Seattle and Bellevue metro area in the next decade. The town hall-like event was a continuation of provocative conversations started during the BISNOW “State of the Market” event hosted earlier in the week, which was attended by more than 400 industry stakeholders and local media.

On Thursday, September 14th, a collective of the Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty (RSIR) Executive Team and brokers joined AREAA of Greater Seattle for the 2017 Emerging Gateways Luxury Summit. The event featured celebrity keynote speaker Josh Altman, a $3 billion realtor and star of Bravo TV’s Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, along with a panel of experts who discussed local and global luxury market trends. Following the panel and guest speakers, guests mingled at a cocktail reception and mixer to share insights while taking in the gorgeous views at the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington.
